The Consulate General of the State of Qatar is participating in the Holiday and Travel Expo HK, which is being held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from February 20 to 23.

Mr. Cui Jianchun, Commissioner of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Hong Kong Region who is responsible for international relations, and foreign missions in Hong Kong, received the Consul General of the State of Qatar Sheikha Noora Khalifa Al-Thani on the occasion of assuming her duties in the region. Mr. Cui handed over to Her Excellency the Consul General a certificate of accreditation as Consul General of the State of Qatar in the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau of the People's Republic of China.

The consulate General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong commemorated the Qatar National Sports Day on 11 February 2025. The consulate General’s members and staff participated in several sports exercise, including walking and football.

HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with HE Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Paul Chan, as part of his participation in the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

Director of the Hong Kong Protocol Division Mr. Harry Tsang received at the Division’s headquarters, Her Excellency Sheikha Noora Khalifa Al-Thani, Consul General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong.
