The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong has taken part in the Hong Kong Fintech Week, which was held between 2nd and 6th of November 2020. The virtual conference saw the participation of various companies and key individuals in the Fintech field.
Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Paul Chan, presented the opening speech to Fintech Week 2020, where he emphasized the importance of applying Fintech to enable companies in employing its creative solutions and attracting investments.
Also during the opening ceremony, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced in cooperation with InvestHK (the organizer of Fintech Week) a number of initiatives to strengthen the Fintech Ecosystem, as well as supporting companies, especially the SMEs.
