Doha, November 04 (QNA) - The State of Qatar took part in the official opening ceremony of the third China International Import Expo, which was inaugurated by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Shanghai, through video conferencing, on Wednesday.

The State of Qatar was represented at the opening ceremony by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, alongside a number of ministers, diplomats, ranking officials, heads of international organizations, and an elite of experts, business leaders and representatives of major companies around the world.

The five-day expo is held on an area of about 360,000 square meters, and includes sections to display the products of international companies in the food and agricultural sectors, cars, technical equipment, consumer goods and medical devices, as well as trade in services, public health, smart transportation, energy, environmental protection, sporting goods and others.
