Doha, May 14 (QNA) - The 18th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) concluded on Saturday evening.
DJWE 2022 was held over six days at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center with the participation of more than 500 brands from over 10 countries.
The exhibition served as a vital platform for networking with jewellery and watch enthusiasts in Qatar and abroad, and hosted a series of workshops and many events that provide the opportunity for industry experts and brand owners to connect with their customers in the region and learn more about their tastes.
The exhibition hosted for the first time luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton, French jeweller Lorenz Baumer and Italian watchmaker Gaga Milano. Famed French department store and brand, Printemps, also participated in the event, paving the way for its debut in Qatar later this year when the 150-year rich label will open its first ever store outside of France.
Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt joined the opening ceremony as the face of the Qatar Tourisms promotional campaign for DJWE in select regional and international markets.
For the fifth year in a row, the exhibition allocated spaces for ten Qatari designers and local entrepreneurs to provide them with opportunities to display their collections alongside the world's most famous brands, as part of Qatar Tourism's continuous efforts to support and nurture promising talents and entrepreneurs in Qatar.
