Doha, May 22 (QNA) - The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) won the Gold Stevie Award in the Innovation in Cross-Media Marketing category, during the awarding ceremony for the winners of the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Stevie Awards, which was held in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, MOCI said that the award, which was received by the ministry's delegation, comes as a culmination of continuous efforts to enhance food security, develop local industries, and strengthen self-reliance in many basic sectors, especially in light of sudden economic crisis. This is in pursuit of one of the main pillars of Qatar National Vision; to build a competitive and diversified economy capable of meeting the needs of society at present and in the future, the statement added.
The ministry had launched an integrated marketing campaign at the state level, in addition to community activities and promotions in commercial centers - highlighting the quality and competitiveness of locally made products.
