Deputy Executive Director at Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Mr. Raymond Yip and HKTDC Senior Manager of Belt and Road and External Relations Mr. Keith Cheng, have received on the 18 of January 2019 His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Sultan Al-Kuwari, Consul General of the State of Qatar where they discussed means to deepen business ties between the State of Qatar and Hong Kong.

During the meeting, His Excellency pointed out the rapid growth in the Qatari economy over the past years, as well as the business opportunities its presents in Qatar and around the world through cooperation and business partnerships. On the other hand, the Deputy Executive Director has shed light on various trade opportunities in Hong Kong, pointing out its position as the third most important financial hub in the world.
