ICAC Commissioner Mr. Simon Peh has received today, 17th of January 2019, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Sultan Al-Kuwari, Consul General of the State of Qatar. During the meeting, the commissioner explained the objectives and goals of the commission.

His Excellency has also shed light on the role of Qatar in combatting corruption on both local and international scales. In addition, His Excellency highlighted the role of Qatar Administrative Control and Transparency Authority in combatting corruption with all its forms and manifestations through enhancing the prevention of corruption and fostering integrity to achieve the sustainable development. 

His Excellency also referred to the establishment of  Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani International Excellence Award to support anti-corruption authorities around the world.

Both parties discussed the different means of increasing and developing future cooperation.
