H.E. the Consul General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong Mr. Mohammed Sultan Al-Kuwari has attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and InvestHK.

The MOU was signed by the Managing Director of Business Development of the QFC Authority, H.E. Sheikha Alanoud Bint Hamad Al-Thani, and the Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, Mr Stephen Phillips, in the presence of the Consul General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong, H.E. Mr Mohammed Sultan Al Kuwari, the Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at InvestHK, Mr Vincent Tang, in addition to representatives of a number of Hong Kong companies from various sectors including technology, financial services, real estate development and others.

 The MOU provides a framework for the strengthening of the relationship between the State of Qatar and Hong Kong and aims to encourage investment in both directions, which will no doubt redound to the mutual benefit of Qatar and Hong Kong.
