Doha, December 22 (QNA) - Qatar University, in cooperation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, will host the activities of the IEEE International Conference on Informatics, IoT, and Enabling Technologies (ICIoT'20) to be held between February 2 and 5, within the framework of the World Congress on Engineering organized by the University's College of Engineering.
IEEE International Conference on Informatics, IoT, and Enabling Technologies (ICIoT'20) aims at providing a forum for sharing ideas and new research advances among researchers and practitioners working on state-of-the-art solutions in informatics, artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, Internet of Things (IoT), enabling technologies, security, Industry 4.0, and e-Health.
The conference is expected to attract renowned researchers as Keynote Speakers, organize training sessions and tutorials, and present recent advances in the field.
The Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department and Associate Professor of Computer Science Dr. Somaya Al Maadeed said the conference attracted researchers from different countries of the world interested in information technology, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and medical applications.
She added that the conference will witness the participation of local and industrial bodies as well as several international researchers, as the last two days of the conference will be devoted to discussing the biggest technological challenges facing society and ways to solve and develop them.
Head of the technical committee of the conference Dr. Mohsen Jizani said that the conference aims to identify the latest developments in science in the field of networks surrounding human beings, which is now known as the Internet of Things. He called on all researchers from all over the world to submit their research to participate effectively in this global digital meeting, as the accepted papers will be published in the internationally known IEEE Xplorer database.
