فازت دولة قطر باستضافة مؤتمر المندوبين المفوضين الـ 22 للاتحاد الدولي للاتصالات في عام 2026، وذلك بإجماع الدول الأعضاء في الاتحاد بعد التصويت الذي جرى اليوم ضمن أعمال مؤتمر المندوبين المفوضين الـ 21 المنعقد في بوخارست.

The State of Qatar won the bid to host the 22nd Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in 2026, with the unanimity of the member states of the ITU after the voting session that took place Tuesday within the work of the 21st Plenipotentiary Conference held in Bucharest.


WHO certifies all municipalities in Qatar as "healthy cities"

he World Health Organisation (WHO) on Monday certified all the municipalities of Qatar as "Healthy Cities", thus becoming the first country in the Eastern Mediterranean to obtain the accreditation for all of its cities. Qatar University was also certified as a "Healthy University," joining Qatar Foundation(QF) Education City, which had earlier been named "Healthy Education City"





Number of Visitors to Qatar Increased by 138.3% Last August on An Annual Basis

The Planning and Statistics Authority has released the 104th issue of (Qatar; Monthly Statistics) bulletin; a series of statistical newsletters released on a monthly basis. In this issue, the Authority highlighted the most important statistical changes that occurred in the country during August 2022 in addition to extracts from the results of the 2020 Census.
