Doha Summit Stresses Importance of Smart Cities in Tackling Pandemic Challenges

QDB Announces First Virtual Investment Forum in Qatar

Two Years to Go- Milestones Continue to Be Reached at Qatar 2022 Stadium Sites

Marking the two-year countdown to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) highlighted in a report on Sunday the progress has been made at the eight Qatar 2022 stadium sites. Three stadiums Khalifa International, Al Janoub and Education City have all been inaugurated and are fully operational, with the remaining five at various stages of construction.

Qatar Airways Unveils First World Cup 2022 Aircraft

Qatar Airways, Official Partner and the Official Airline of FIFA, today unveiled a specially-branded Boeing 777 aircraft painted in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 livery, to mark two years to go until the tournament kicks off on 21 November 2022. The bespoke aircraft, which features distinctive FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 branding was hand-painted to commemorate the airlines partnership with FIFA. More aircraft in the Qatar Airways fleet will feature the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 livery and will visit several destinations in the network.


Al Raya, Al Watan: Major Sporting Events in Qatar on Road to World Cup

5th Edition of World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) 2020 Concluded

Bringing together more than 60,000 people from around the world, Qatar Foundation's fifth World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) held for the first time virtually came to a close on Thursday. Featuring more than 300 global speakers and 100 sessions, attendees heard from international health ministers, scientists, academics, public health leaders, and policymakers. Also, more than 15 policy-focused research reports were released over the course of the five-day summit.



FIFA Club World Cup to be Held in Qatar in February 2021

The FIFA Club World Cup 2020 will take place in Qatar from 1-11 February next year. It will be the second time Qatar has played host to the world's continental club champions after successfully staging the 2019 version of the tournament, which was won by Liverpool FC.
