Newspapers: HH the Amir's Tour Promotes Strategic Relations and Cooperation

In their editorials Thursday, Qatari newspapers highlighted HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's working visit to the French Republic and the United Kingdom, where HH will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The papers pointed out that after the tour, HH the Amir will head the delegation of the State of Qatar to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly and will deliver a speech during the opening session of the Assembly on Tuesday (September 24).


Qatar's IPA Joins World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies

Qatars newly established Investment Promotion Agency LLC (IPA), has joined the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), an international non-governmental organization that provides opportunities for investment promotion agencies worldwide to network and exchange best practices in investment promotion.


Qatar- Photo exhibition on Shanghai's history opens at Katara

Seventy images showcasing pivotal moments in Shanghai's history are on display at a photography exhibition launched on Sunday at Katara Cultural Village in line with the 70th founding anniversary of China. Chronologically divided into three sections, the exhibition titled 'Moments in History, 70 Years of Shanghai reflects the huge leap China's biggest city has witnessed in various spheres of development in the past seven decades.

Qatar Airways (QA) announced that it has won three global accolades in the 2020 Airline Passenger Experience Association's (APEX) Passenger Choice Awards The multi award-winning airline scooped the top global titles for 'Best Seat Comfort', 'Best Cabin Service' and 'Best Food & Beverage', as well as being named a '2020 Five Star Global.




QFC Announces Agreement with Bloomberg Media Group

Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) today announced a new agreement with Bloomberg Media Group , further advancing Bloomberg's presence and editorial coverage in the region. The agreement includes a remote Bloomberg Television studio for live reports at the QFC in Doha, adding the major financial capital to existing remote locations in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, as well as Bloomberg Television's Middle East and Africa broadcasting hub in Dubai. The remote Bloomberg Television studio was launched at the QFC's headquarters today, in the presence of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, senior QFC leaders and those in charge of financial sector in Qatar.
