Qatar Participates in Virtual Ministerial Meeting of Least Developed Countries in New York

The State of Qatar participated in the virtual ministerial meeting of the Least Developed Countries, during 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi. His Excellency said, in the State of Qatar's speech, that the world is living in unprecedented conditions surrounded by many challenges to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, whose negative repercussions affect all countries, and particularly affect the least developed countries, and threaten to undermine the achieved development gains.


Joint Statement of the Third Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue

The Governments of the United States and the State of Qatar held the third United States-Qatar Strategic Dialogue on September 14-15, 2020. HE Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and HE US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo co-chaired the Opening Session.

Education Above All Marks International Day for Protection of Education from Attack

Education Above All Foundation, along with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and Qatar Fund for Development, organized a high-level virtual event in Qatar on the sidelines of the first International Day for Protection of Education from Attack.

SC Report Outlines Sustainability Features of Qatar 2022 Stadiums
