The promotional tour of the original version of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Trophy has continued, as part of the promotional plans that precede the holding of the first World Cup in the Arab region and the Middle East.

In its editorial on Sunday, Al-Raya newspaper highlighted the progressive economic policies and financial and legislative reforms adopted by the State of Qatar, which had a significant impact on the rise in the country's reserves, reflecting the strength of the economy.

The annual report of the European Union "Human Rights and Democracy in the World 2021" praised the labor laws reforms in the State of Qatar, such as the abolition of the sponsorship system and the implementation of the minimum wage decision; noting that they are positive steps in labor law reforms, and that the year 2021 witnessed strong labor reforms in Qatar.

FIFA has welcomed the United Nations General Assembly consensus resolution from the recent 76th session which recognizes the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 as the first such event to be held in the Middle East, and encourages the relevant authorities to ensure that it will leave a lasting legacy for peace and development in the region.

HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Sultan bin Rashid Al Khater affirmed that the State of Qatar has managed to overcome all the challenges that faced global economies during the past years, and laid the foundations of a new phase that adopts an approach that contributes to achieving economic diversification, pointing out that this has consolidated its position as one of the most powerful and promising regional economies at the global level.
