Al-Raya newspaper said in its editorial that the State of Qatar managed to maintain its position as one of the fastest growing economies with a host of investment opportunities, reflecting the progressive economic policies and financial reforms undertaken by the country recently.

The Peninsula newspaper noted on Saturday, that Qatar has emerged as preferred destination for companies across the world due to the high economic growth and supportive policies for private sector. The newspaper stated in its editorial titled 'Attracting Global Companies', that the recent data show that several companies are choosing Qatar to grow their business despite the challenging environment created by COVID-19 outbreak.

In their editorials Tuesday, Al-Raya and The Peninsula newspapers hailed the great success that have been achieved during the past few years in the management and implementation of major infrastructure projects in the State of Qatar. The two newspapers affirmed that the major strategic projects that have been achieved will play a major role in promoting the country's economic growth

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council has agreed, in principal, on the establishment of Doha Flight Information Region (FIR) and Doha Search and Rescue Region drawing on the State of Qatar's proposal, which would include Qatar's sovereign airspace and, to optimize safety and efficiency of the regional airspace, as well as other contiguous airspace over the high seas. The decision was taken during the 223rd session of the ICAO Council meetings that began on June 18.

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) and Qatar Vision (QVision) were among the big winners at the Eventex Awards 2021 thanks to the impact of three FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 milestones. The organisations received seven awards at this year's ceremony, which recognises events and experience marketing excellence. Al-Raya newspaper, issued today, confirmed the success of the State of Qatar in confronting the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, which allowed it to enter the third phase of lifting restrictions, including new procedures that facilitate travel, return and the resumption of tourist and family entry visas.

The former Dutch football star Ruud Gullit said that climate factor and geographical proximity between stadiums will give the State of Qatar a great advantage when it hosts the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. In a statement, Gullit said it will be a great World Cup because Europe is very cold, and it would be nice to come here where the temperature is moderate. The World Cup will be great because of the availability of all facilities in the country, he said, adding that there will be a great competition on excellent stadiums.
