Qatari daily newspapers highlighted in their Thursday editorials the distinguished results and impressive successes achieved by the Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg, which concluded on Wednesday after high-level participants presented a set of solutions to accelerate recovery from COVID-19 repercussions, adding that the ideas and recommendations they presented provided an opportunity for the world to examine options and future solutions.

The first high-level meeting between the Supreme Judiciary Council and the Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China was held on Wednesday, co-chaired by HE President of the Supreme Judiciary Council, President of the Court of Cassation Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Mohannadi, and his counterpart, Judge Zhou Qiang, via video conference technology. The Media Team of Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding organized a workshop on translation between the Arabic and the Chinese language, as Chinese is the second official language of the Award's seventh session for 2021. The workshop was presented by the Academic, Writer and Translator Dr. Chang Hung Ye- known as Zahira among Arabs, who is also the Dean of the Arabic Studies at Beijing International Studies University.

The State National Day Celebrations Organizing Committee has announced the slogan for Qatar National Day 2021, "Ancestral Meadows: A Matter Of Trust". The new slogan is based on the poetry of the founder of Qatar, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Bin Thani, may Allah rest his soul. The verses of the poem illustrate: Oh, how many caravans have passed by, Leaving behind vestiges of the fluctuations of the times, Abodes our sights are accustomed to as the seasons slip by, Our meadows ornamented with herbs. The new slogan represents the strong relationship of Qataris to their environment since time immemorial. They were raised by the characteristics of the land, coexisting with its nature, the colors of its soil and sea, the seasons, and they explored its depths so that it formed their personality and identity.
