QF Organizes Teaching and Learning Forum

The Education Development Institute (EDI), part of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, organized on Sunday the Teaching and Learning Forum, which included a series of virtual discussions and breakout sessions, including Building Inclusive and Accessible Learning Communities, Personalizing Teaching and Learning, and Marketing for Schools. The event, held under the theme "Education for Resilience", brought together more than 1,600 participants of educators, teachers, academics and school leaders from around the world to look at how learning can be made sustainable post-COVID-19.


Doha Forum Announces Partnership with Observer Research Foundation on "CYFY2020" Event

Doha Forum announced its partnership with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), Indias leading think tank, on the India Conference on Technology, Security and Society "CYFY2020", which is hosted online from October 12 to 16. HE Lolwah Al Khater, Executive Director of Doha Forum, said: "The Observer Research Foundation has been an active contributor to Doha Forums success. As a content partner in 2018 and 2019, they brought important perspectives and voices from the East to the Forum, which enriched our diversity and encouraged an honest exchange of views".



AFC Thanks Qatar for Hosting Champions League (East)

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) expressed Friday its appreciation for the Qatari football association's support in ensuring the success of the 2020 AFC Champions League. Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced earlier today that it will host the AFC Champions League (East). The competition will have 16 teams from China, South Korea, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand. The winners will face their counterpart from the West.


Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, US-Qatar Business Council Highlight Qatars Economic Resilience

The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar) and the US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC) co-hosted a virtual panel discussion entitled "Qatars Value Proposition & Resiliency: Why Qatar Remains a Primary Investment Destination for US Companies". Hamad International Airport First Global Entity to be Verified by BSI for its COVID-19 Aviation Health Safety Protocol Implementation

Hamad International Airport (HIA) is proud to announce that it is the first entity in the world to achieve independent verification from BSI (British Standards Institution) for its implementation of COVID-19 ICAO Aviation Health Safety Protocols.
