Qatar's Commitment to Respectful Dialogue to Resolve all problems and crises.

Doha, January 06 (QNA) - In their Sunday's editorial, Al-Raya and Al-Sharq newspapers affirmed Qatar's firm position on resolving differences on the basis of mutual respectful dialogue. The two newspapers noted the assertions made by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on the importance of upholding the dialogue based on mutual interests and respect, pointing out that this is a renewal of the firm stances that the State of Qatar has committed to solving all problems and crises, including the Gulf crisis, which will only be resolved through dialogue and the unconditional lifting of the unjust blockade imposed against Qatar.


Importance of Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue

Doha, January 05 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers, Al-Raya and Al-Sharq, underlined in their editorials on Saturday the importance of the second round of the Qatar-US Strategic Dialogue which will be held in Doha next week during the visit of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to the region.

Doha, January 04 (QNA) - Qatari newspaper Al-Raya underlined Friday that the Qatari economy has achieved unprecedented accomplishments during the past period following the siege, when the State of Qatar turned the crisis into a blessing and worked on stimulating the national economy, localizing industries and encouraging export.

Doha, January 01 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers said that the State of Qatar welcomes the new year 2019, while continuing through its internal and external achievements to face the unjust blockade and move resolutely towards achieving its noble goals at all levels and in all sectors. The newspapers stressed that 2018 witnessed the Qatari steadfastness in the face of the consequences of the unjust blockade.


Qatar to host 140th IPU Assembly in 2019

QNA/ Geneva / THE 139th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) announced that it will hold its 140th session in the State of Qatar from April 6 to 10, 2019. Speaker of the Advisory Council HE Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al Mahmoud welcomed, in his speech delivered at the closing session, the participants in the 140th IPU assembly and its related meetings in the State of Qatar.

Director of the Hong Kong Protocol Division Miss Joyce Lee along with Deputy Director Mr. Derek Lee have received at the Division’s headquarters on Friday 21st of December His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Sultan Al-Kuwari, Consul General of the State of Qatar. On Thursday evening, 13th of December 2018, H.E. Mr. Mohammed sultan Al-Kuwari, the Consul General of the State of Qatar in Hong Kong, held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day.
